Dear Jackson:
I have an awkward situation that I don't know how to deal with. My
husband's adult family member is staying with us for a while, and a
couple of months ago I realized she was using my bath towel. Like, not
one of my clean towels in the linen closet - MY towel. My husband made
a comment to her about how the towels hanging in the bathroom are the
ones we use for a couple of days, but she continued to use mine (or my
husbands) so I started hanging my towel in my bedroom to solve the
problem. I have been doing this for a while, and things have been
okay, until I just realized that she also uses my toothbrush, my
razor, and my loofah!!! I am completely disgusted by this, but don't
know what to do about it because how do you tell an adult not to use
your personal belongings?! Shouldn't this be understood??

That is rather disgusting! To make things less awkward, I'd buy her a little gift basket of bathroom things and leave it in the bathroom for her. Also replace all your old stuff with new stuff too. If she continues using your things instead of her own, I'd sit down and calmly ask her why she feels the need to use yours and your husbands stuff. If you still can't get anywhere with her, then either boot her out or keep all your stuff in your bedroom (locked).
that is very disgusting i would not only get her her own gift basket of her own necessities but make her buy and pay for your new tooth brush and towels and once u get thos paybacks from her hide them
thats just gross i kno she is family and al but you should go and stay somewhere else until she is gone and then go buy all new stuff that she used of yours especially a toothbrush. thats just gross she used that, but i think you should just go stay over at her place and do the same thing but thats just what i say to that i think about that. but unless its a joke ur husband played you should have one of ur relitives come and live with you and have them use his stuff and show him how it feels
